Contract awards Skandi Gamma​

The DOF Group is delighted to announce a new four-year firm contract for the PSV Skandi Gamma with current client Ithaca Energy (UK) Limited. The award, which also includes 2 x 1-year options, will commence in direct continuation of the current contract on 1st May 2023.

The vessel has been working on the UKCS for London listed Ithaca Energy since May 2021 and the DOF Group is delighted to be building on the long-term partnership with a leading UK independent energy company.  Mons S. Aase, DOF Group CEO say: “I’m very pleased with this award. The present contract had 2 x 1 years remaining options; that we have agreed to replace these options with a new long-term contract is proof of the strong relationship we have with Ithaca Energy and the good performance of the vessel.”
 
Golden Energy Offshore Services AS secure contracts for Energy Duchess

Golden Energy Offshore Services AS (GEOS) is pleased to announce two contracts with first class Charterers for the vessel Energy Duchess. GEOS has secured bring to work (B2W) contract for its MPSV Energy Duchess and a medium term contract in direct continuation. The vessel will be mobilized with a Bring to Work system (B2W) of Z-Bridge make, and her role will be to accommodate and bring technicians and equipment to offshore work locations. Several of her MPSV capacities and capabilities will be utilized throughout. The job is up to 14 days duration and mobilization in Rotterdam will commence week 12 after completion of her present spot job. Operation area will be UK sector of the North Sea and work scope is decommission and recycling with the highest green profile. The system is set up to reach landing heights of 20 meters above LAT for the people-transfer and cranage up to same height. In direct continuation of the B2W job – Energy Duchess has entered into a mid-term contract on the Norwegian Continental Shelf with a first class, international operator. The contract is for a firm 50 days + options until 13.july 2023. Golden Energy Offshore is grateful to be shown the trust and get the possibility to demonstrate the vessel’s capabilities within W2W/B2W operations. We will have good use of our long experience from W2W/B2W operations – both sailing crew and the administration look forward to prove their abilities. Energy Duchess is, with the two new contracts, secured 100% utilization for rest of Q1-23 and throughout most of Q2-23 at attractive levels. With Energy Swan and Energy Empress remaining on term contracts all Company’s 3 vessels have full firm backlog till 1. May when Energy Swan firm contract expire.
 

Edda Wind ASA : New Contracts​

Edda Wind has signed contracts with Vestas for work in 2024 and 2025 totaling at least 750 days firm work with options for extension of each work scope. The contracts have been signed at rates above levels recorded in recent years and within the range of dayrates forecasted by analysts in the C/SOV market.
The new contracts demonstrate the company’s ability to provide flexible solutions to our charterers by utilizing the interchangeability of the Edda Wind vessels and our fleet size, says CEO Kenneth Walland.

The vessels that will serve the contracts are to be nominated from Edda Winds fleet of CSOVs at a later stage. All CSOVs in the fleet can accommodate 120 persons and have flexibility and operability that enable them to service these projects as well as wind farms worldwide. They are all prepared for zero-emission operations with hydrogen as energy carrier in a Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier (LOHC) concept.
 

DeepOcean charters offshore support vessel​


DeepOcean is chartering the Olympic Ares from Fosnavaag-based shipowner Olympic Subsea.
The vessel is a modern construction support vessel equipped with a 250 Te crane and will provide subsea inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR), light construction and recycling services to DeepOcean’s customers in the offshore renewables and oil and gas industries.
“Operators of offshore wind farms and oil and gas assets approach DeepOcean because they know we have a 300-strong engineering hub with extensive experience from planning subsea inspection, maintenance and repair operations. The vessels we charter are necessary platforms to execute the work. Adding Olympic Ares to our fleet allows us to further enhance our capacity within this field,” says Øyvind Mikaelsen, CEO of DeepOcean.
The charter contract will commence in the first quarter of 2023 and have a firm hire period until the end of 2024, with option to extend the contract.
Moreover, Olympic will upgrade the vessel’sDP system during 2023. This will optimize DP performance and energy efficiency which enables further reduction of the vessel’s carbon footprint in line withDeepOcean CO2 emission reduction strategy.
“Our target is to reduce our CO2 emissions by 45 percent by 2030. Reducing emissions from offshore vessels and operations is a key part of this strategy. Collaborating with shipowners such as Olympic Subsea, who operates one of the world’s most modern and flexible fleet of subsea IMRand light construction vessels, enables us to drive down operating expenditure and harmful emissions to air,” adds Øyvind Mikaelsen.
The Olympic Ares will be equipped with 2 x Schilling HD ROVs together with DeepOcean’s dedicated infrastructure.

Energy Swan – extension of contract

Golden Energy Offshore Services AS (GEOS) is pleased to inform that a contract extension has been secured for Energy Swan. Energy Swan A contract extension has been secured with Repsol Norge AS. The contract is in direct continuation of the current charter contract from 2021. The large PSV Energy Swan was in 2021 chartered for a firm period of 1 year + optional (total of 1 years options). Repsol Norge AS and GEOS agreed after expiration of the firm period to extend for an additional 6 months till 1st May 2023 - reference to notice 13.09.2023. Repsol Norge AS and GEOS have now agreed to extend contract with additional 2 months till 1st July 2023. The charter rate reflects the market conditions. The parties have further agreed that Charterers continue having options available to charter the vessel as per the original charter (till 1st November 2023)
 

Contract award DOF Group​

The DOF group is pleased to announce a new 3-years firm contract for the AHTS Skandi Vega with the current charterer Equinor Energy AS. The award, which also include 2 x 1 year options, will commence in direct continuation of the current contract. Skandi Vega is one of the largest AHTS vessels in the world and have been operating for Equinor since delivery in 2010. DOF is delighted to continue the long-term partnership with Equinor and the new contract is a proof of the value the vessel and its crew brings to this partnership.

Letter of Intent for charter of the CSV Normand Maximus​


Solstad Offshore ASA ("Solstad") has received a Letter of Intent from an
undisclosed subsea contractor for hire of the CSV Normand Maximus for a period
of minimum 490 days with commencement first quarter 2024.

The commercial terms are confidential between the parties but are in line with
present market terms for this vessel category.

The subsea construction vessel Normand Maximus is the largest vessel in the
Solstad fleet, with its 900t AHC crane and 550t VLS. Normand Maximus is 178
meters long and can accommodate up to 180 people.
 

New contract for CSV Normand Pacific within renewable energy​

Solstad Offshore ASA is pleased to announce that Prysmian Powerlink Srl ("Prysmian") has entered into a new 7-year contract for the CSV Normand Pacific. The contract is firm until 31 December 2030.

In addition, Prysmian has the option to extend the contract with 2 x 2 years and 1 x 1 year beyond the firm period.

Normand Pacific has been on charter with Prysmian since 2016 and the vessel is supporting the installation of power cable systems on Prysmian's global projects.
 

New contract for CSV Normand Pacific within renewable energy​

Solstad Offshore ASA is pleased to announce that Prysmian Powerlink Srl (“Prysmian”) has entered into a new 7-year contract for the CSV Normand Pacific. The contract is firm until 31 December 2030. In addition, Prysmian has the option to extend the contract with 2 x 2 years and 1 x 1 year beyond the firm period.
Normand Pacific has been on charter with Prysmian since 2016 and the vessel is supporting the installation of power cable systems on Prysmian’s global projects.
 

Reach Subsea ASA – Subsea vessel Olympic Triton chartered for 3 years plus 2 years options​

Haugesund, 30 May 2023: Reach Subsea continues to build long-term capacity to serve the growing market for subsea services. Following a six-month charter of the multifunctional subsea support and construction vessel Olympic Triton, announced 6 February 2023, Reach Subsea has exercised the option to charter the vessel for 3 years plus 2 yearly options, including the six months charter announced in February.

“The strong market growth for subsea services is expected to continue for many years, with thousands of new offshore wind turbines to be installed and serviced, and increasing activity in the traditional oil and gas sector. With an end-to-end service offering for ocean data and services, Reach Subsea is perfectly positioned, and by chartering Olympic Triton for the coming three years on attractive financial terms we are further strengthening our ability to leverage the accelerating market,” said Jostein Alendal, CEO of Reach Subsea.

Olympic Triton is a versatile and modern multifunctional subsea vessel with a 150 tons crane and a large accommodation and deck capacity, suitable to meet Reach Subsea’s clients' requirements within both the renewable energy and oil and gas sectors. Reach Subsea has already utilized the vessel successfully for a project initiated in the first quarter 2023, for a renewable energy company in North West Europe.

“We are impressed with the performance of the vessel and the marine management from Olympic, and we are very happy to further build on our long-standing fruitful cooperation. The structure of the contract implies limited risk and a good upside for both Reach Subsea and Olympic and includes a portion of profit sharing between the two parties,” said Jostein Alendal.
 

Energy Swan – extension of contract​

Golden Energy Offshore Services AS (GEOS) is pleased to inform that a contractexten sion has been secured for Energy Swan.

The parties have further agreed that Charterers continue having optionsavailable to charter the vessel as per the original charter (till 1st November 2023).
 

TERM CONTRACT PSV JUANITA​



Ugland Supplier AS has been awarded a charter contract by Equinor ASA for the PSV Juanita.

The vessel will be operating in the North Sea and the fixed period is for minimum 3 years with 2 x 1 years options.

Delivery of Juanita is directly after completion of present charter contract with Equinor in June 2023.

We are very pleased with this contract and are looking forward to continue delivery quality of services to Equinor.

Juanita has been on contact with Equinor since delivery from Kleven Yard in 2014.
 

Contract award for AHTS Siem Emerald​

Siem Offshore has entered into a medium-term contract for AHTS vessel Siem Emerald, currently serving the North Sea market. The contract has a firm period of 6 months + options of up to 6 months. The vessel has commenced the contract.
 

More installation contracts for Island Victory​


Island Victory has secured work for the coming autumn and will support the installation phase of a new gas pipeline in the Mediterranean. The Island Victory will be responsible for the installation of a complete mooring spread for an FSRU (Floating Storage Regasification Unit) for an undisclosed client. The duration of the contract is expected to be 90-120 days.

The contracted scope of work for the Island Victory involves the installation of a complete underwater Restricted Catenary Mooring System (RCM), "as built" survey, flexible riser installation, PLEM, spool and umbilical installation comprising mobilization of a HLS lay spread on board.

“We are delighted with this contract for Island Victory's new and important customer. It is also the first time we have an HLS lay spread installed on board, which further expands Victory's already well-reputed track record,” says Head of Chartering Hallgeir Linge Reitan.

We have also secured work for the vessel in the second half of 2024, when Island Victory will return to the Gulf of Mexico, and the customer Subsea7. The contracted work involves complete mooring installation at a US FPS installation (Floating Production and Storage System) and associated underwater construction work in ultra deep water. The engagement is fixed for 120 days + options.

Contract extensions for Siem Atlas and Siem Giant​

Charterers have exercised a 12-month option on each of Siem Atlas and Siem Giant for continued operations in Brazil.
 

Havila Shipping ASA: Forlengelse av kontrakter for PSVer

Havila Shipping har inngått avtale med Equinor Energy AS for PSV fartøyet Havila Clipper for forlengelse av den faste perioden fram til juni 2024.

I tillegg er det avtalt en opsjonsperiode for 6 måneder fram til desember 2024.

Selskapet har videre inngått kontrakt med Peterson Den Helder BV om 2 årlige opsjoner for PSV fartøyet Havila Borg.

Opsjonene gjelder fra april 2024 til april 2026.
