Hi,MARELLA DREAM (1986) and THE ZENITH (1992) probably going for scrap as well. MARELLA DREAM is drifting in the Eastern Med together with MARELLA CELEBRATION while THE ZENITH is off an island called Agios Georgios. All thought to be destined for scrapping at Aliaga. OCEANA thought to have been sold for further trading, either to Greece or Asia, but let's wait and see.
Carnival Cruises say they will continue the refit of CARNIVAL RADIANCE (ex-CARNIVAL VICTORY) but I have my doubts. That ship had started a $200 mln rebuild at Navantia in Cartagena, which was stopped due to corona. So the ship is now sitting there, probably partly stripped, and Carnival would still need to spend the better part of $200 mln on her to get her back in shape. I don't really see that happening.
