Representatives of AIDA Cruises, Explora Journeys, Norwegian Cruise Line, Swan Hellenic, Silversea Cruises, Baltic Gateway, DMC and European Cruise Service met with Svalbard officials on Longyearbyen last week to find solutions to expected regulatory changes including a cap of 500–750 people on visiting cruise ships and a 200-passenger limit in protected areas.
