Thanks a lot for link and pictures.
But what is "luxury" please on this ferry ? What is similar as on cruise-ships please ? On these pictures nothing to see.
And the public rooms looking only big and very sterile, cold, not cozy... zero atmosphere... .
Restaurants without windows ?
On these pictures it is looking similar as DFDS Aura/Luna or TT Nils Holgersson - just the public rooms even bigger and wider and much more cabins. For me a big disappointment until now - maybe later there will come pictures of the luxury- and cruise-ship-style areas... but i doubt... .
Pools ? Sauna ? Spa ? Waterslides ? Any expensive materials inside ? Exclusive wood ? Exclusive sundecks ? Panoramic exclusive elevators ?
Theatre ? Dance-floor ? Stages ? Cinemas ? Cabins looking extremly poor and small, stairs grey and plastic, no mirrors, no glass, no messing, no mahagoni, no marmor, no exclusive expensive lights. What is in the sport-bar, a 3, 4, 5 meter high video-wall ? Not to see... . Atrium with big elegant stairs ? Exclusive carpets, curtains ? I could write 1000 things which are "luxury" on ships - but not on this ferry... .
How can they go and do marketing with the words "luxury" and "cruise-ship-similar" ???

These ferries are sadly only big poor simply mass-ferries, so many tourists onboard as possible... - f.ex. the pullman-seats lounge is looking 3-times better in each newer Catamaran... . (Exampel Fjordline Fstr)

"Luxury" means much more than normal, things who are NOT necassary - as f.ex. on these cruise-ships:

But this has nothing to do with the new Moby Fantasy / Lagacy... .
Alone the winter-garden on the old Moby Wonder / Aki is looking much more spectacular "luxury" as everything here on the pictures... .

Please HSNC - let`s agree to avoid the word "CRUISE" in context with this 2 Moby new-buildings... :)

In my opinion these ferries are really a new step in running down the ferry-business - real cruise-ships will be better and bigger every year with even more attractions and entertainments onboard and with even more cheaper ticket-prices - but the most new ferries from the last years - every new new-building more disappointing than the new-building before. But these both Moby`s are now the negative "top of the grey plastic-box-ships".
In the night you will be in super-small 8 square-meter grey plastic-boxes (i have seen a picture but can not find it again), 2 meter per person (but they have curtains !) - but most terrible it is on the 8 hours long day-departures. There is absolut nothing to do, nothing to see, nothing special onboard - unbelievable !

This is the A-la-carte-restaurant hall, complete without windows ! The both windows there are going into the kitchen !

Super-cozy, calm and quiete (ironic !), 6er-tables (who is travelling with 6 people in this a-la-carte ? Would be much better with big room-dividers, plants etc. and 2er or 4er tables only) and each time if a waiter is coming you will hear loud the noise from the kitchen ! Can not remember seen anywhere else such a solution with the kitchen-door in the middle of the restaurant, i can really hear already now the loud crying Italian kitchen-crew and the jingling dishes ! And who think that these kind of board-lamps are cozy ?

And if i see the stair-houses - 1.st price in grey poor plastic on sea worldwide ! Maybe
But maybe the red carpets, big wall-mirrors, big wall-pictures and brass, copper, chrom-stairs will come later... (Ironic !)

There will be 4 big areas on the ship from front- to after-section:
- At the front is the big BISTRO self-service restaurant, will be also very loud because all cooking is happening middle in the hall !
- then the biggest area, the 723 seats SPORT BAR with only 1 (!!!) TV-screen
(please send me a picture when Italy is playing in next summer the Euro-Football-Championship !)
- then the big a-la-carte-restaurant without windows in the middle of the ship and at both sides long Arcades
- After-section is a big hall only with 403 Pullman-seats
- in summer are 100 plastic-seats nearby the sun-deck-bar
So there are really 0 reasons for to book these poor new ferries.

So for me all passengers will be the looser and the only people who can be happy with these ferries is the office-staff, managers etc. from all competitors ! Moby has invested a lot of money (160 Mio. per ship) only in size and capacity - but got nothing more. And against the older Moby Wonder and Moby Aki really a big step backyards.

Crew will be ca. 110 persons, max. 3000 Pax is now announced in media-info, 1300 cars, 300 trucks, 237m x 32m, 69.500 BRZ.
First normal trip to Livorno-Olbia shall be on 16./17.june.

Ugly, BUT are these actual photographs, or computer renderings? I am invited to participate in the first inaugural sailing on June

There was a number of renderings flying around in Internet - but i think the pictures posted here are very actually real pictures... .
My tipp: Try to change your ticket against Moby Aki or Moby Wonder - much better than Fantasy !
And if not possible, take a lot of newspapers and books with you onboard... .

The "Sport-bar" - in the middle at the grey wall where are the 6 stripes will be the only one TV-screen ! And the bar is to the right outside of the picture.

This will be your first impression if you came up with the escalator:
Must be also a new crazy idea with these round lamps, seen similar on a lot of other ferry-new-buildings, f.ex. DFDS Aura/Luna and TT Line.
But it is not not nice, not cozy, nothing positive ! And even more strange with red color light as on the Scandinavian ferries.
Thing f.ex. here on this picture how fine it would be with hanging lamps over each sofa-group, big curtains at the windows, big room-dividers f.ex. with plants. Big TV screen at the wall where is the escalator, the double-door will be closed at departure, so between escalator and windows could be a XXXL TV screen. Then it could be nice cozy places for to sit down. And carpet is also missing.
1686153728905.png
Sadly i can not find again the standard-4-bed-cabin-picture, was in any maritime newspaper and was really terrible - supersmall in blue-grey plastic.
The only positive point with MOBY is that the ticket-prices are ok on the day-departures, with car you can travel to Sardinia for less than 50,-.

Think f.ex. the reception-area would be divided with this green-transparent-plant-wall on the line where are now the white pillors, and then with nice sofa-groups left side (nearby the dividing element) and right side similar as now at the windows. Nice hanging lamps over each sofa group, carpet, curtains etc. - then it would be a nice positive cozy first impression-area. Just to remember - the people get the keycards for the cabins at the check-in - so to the reception need only people to go with any problems or special questions - to have a big hall in front of the reception is nonsense today - also is the desk much too big, baltic ferries has double number of cabins but half size reception-desk.

1686154820406.png
So think here behind the plant-dividing-wall is the reception-area, and where is the big blue bank here coming cozy sofa-groups and at the background where is here the grey door with the barchairs is the escalator and at the right beside coming a big TV screen and then at the windows the 8 sofa-groups with direct sea-view. Just look at the details also - here on this picture are hanging lamps over every table ! I am not a designer - but it is really very easy to get the areas onboard of the new Moby-ferries much better and much more cozy than they are now. And this is just an example - there are 1000 different kinds of big room-dividers available.
F.ex. also water-walls with integrated lights - all super-cheap in all sizes made in China
1686156802474.png
2 m high - price per 1 m wide water-wall incl. LED less than 100,- in China !
