FDV NEW BUILDS

Triumph FDV ST-269

Triumph’s new-build Field Development Vessels (FDVs) have been designed to meet and exceed the emerging green and blue economy requirements. The requirement to meet these obligations and to improve the carbon footprint of the offshore, marine and renewables industries is paramount in the considerations of the vessels design and in Triumph’s operations as an organisation. The parameters for the Skipsteknisk designed FDVs was to design and build vessels that are truly multi-purpose for nearly all subsea construction tasks that can be encountered within the offshore oil / gas, subsea telecoms, decommissioning and renewables markets. Further to the standard equipment fitted to the vessels they are multi role and adaptable wherein modular pipe-lay systems for both shallow and deep water can be installed in either S Lay or J Lay configurations.

The vessels have been designed to conform to the highest levels of class notation in regard to Clean Design, Environmental Design and SPS Code, where a focus is placed on low fuel consumption, reduced exhaust emissions, environmental protection systems and safety. The vessels are diesel electric with hybrid battery systems and advanced energy recovery systems that greatly enhance the fuel consumption figures for the vessels and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Enhanced crew safety feature include the MARSS MOBtronic automated man overboard detection / tracking system and MARRS NiDAR autonomous threat detection, surveillance and anti-piracy countermeasures system.

Cranes and VLS are operated via 3 on-board remote operations rooms and also have the capability of “over the horizon” remote operations. Cranes have below deck electric winches fitted with 4000m + of fibre rope and the fibre rope is full load capable to full depth, the only limitation is the amount of rope fitted.

Intensjonsavtalen gjeld to skip, med opsjon på ytterlegare to skip.
