EJ "Fran Trelleborg" - men i kontexten kan man upfattar det sa...
It was a newsletter especially för swedish people who want to go to the Alps now for skidsemester.
And there the people can choose between 18 departures to Germany and Polen to find the 1 right... - this was what i have understand... - but maybe my swedish-knowledge was too poor for this... . There are days in may f.ex. without any departure to Polen - so i don`t think that this kind of marketing is good for TT - the most people are not so stupid... .
I think it is a generally problem, if you book a flight to Oslo you arrive in Rygge, Torp or Gardermoen (= anywhere in nowhere far away, but not in Oslo), DFDS is going officially from Stockholm - but in reality it is from Kapellskär (where is really nothing and far away from Stockholm) and also in other points it is with ferries often not the reality... - f.ex. ferry-companies are talking from "enjoy good meals/food onboard" - but in reality this is then a "Hamburgertallerken" with cold and "labbrig" Pommes... and very expensive (Stena and Scandlines not better also).
So more and more people are not happy with the ferries specially to Sweden and the big winner are only the bridges (Öresund, Storebaelt).
If they would write on the websites "an older truck-ferry with cafeteria and cars with people will be accepted also" the reports later would be much better - but if the expectations before travelling are high because of marketing - the disappointments later are very very big... .
So the results are horrible and terrible reports and "never again" :
https://www.tripadvisor.de/ShowUser...7-TT_Line-Travemuende_Schleswig_Holstein.html . More catastrophic are the reports also from travellers of Holland f.ex. .
And the very few positives sounds like "Fakes" - very short, not detailed and very generally in a "all was fine" style with a small-boat as picture.
if you take out these "as a Fake-looking-reports" more than 90% of the others are negative or very negative... .
I have seen random that TT was searching a new general-manager for all restaurants onboard, this could be a first step in a kind of "new start" - or otherwise maybe it would be the better solution to buy the name "Truckline-Ferries" from Brittany ferries... .
